Russia’s Trade with Denmark

In the 1st quarter of 2018, Russia’s trade with Denmark totaled $1,274,159,861, up 50.97% ($430,189,081) from the 1st quarter of 2017.

Russia’s exports to Denmark in the 1st quarter of 2018 totaled $1,051,893,092, up 54.63% ($371,632,675) from the 1st quarter of 2017.

Russia’s imports from Denmark in the 1st quarter of 2018 totaled $222,266,769, up 35.77% ($58,556,406) from the 1st quarter of 2017.

Russia’s trade surplus with Denmark in the 1st quarter of 2018 was $829,626,323, a 60.61% increase ($313,076,269) over the 1st quarter of 2017.

Denmark was Russia’s 27th largest trading partner in the 1st quarter of 2018 (up from 33rd in the 1st quarter of 2017), accounting for 0.8083% of Russia’s total trade (up from 0.6565% in the 1st quarter of 2017).

Denmark was Russia’s 23rd largest export market in the 1st quarter of 2018 (up from 29th in the 1st quarter of 2017), accounting for 1.0210% of Russia’s total exports (up from 0.8163% in the 1st quarter of 2017).

Denmark was Russia’s 40th largest supplier in the 1st quarter of 2018 (up from 41st in the 1st quarter of 2017), accounting for 0.4070% of Russia’s total imports (up from 0.3621% in the 1st quarter of 2017).

Russia’s Exports to Denmark

The major share of Russian exports to Denmark in the 1st quarter of 2018 (and in the 1st quarter of 2017) was accounted for the following product types:

  • Mineral products (HS codes 25-27) - 84.84% of Russia’s total exports to Denmark (80.29% in the 1st quarter of 2017);
  • Metals and products from them (HS codes 72-83) - 8.96% of Russia’s total exports to Denmark (11.25% in the 1st quarter of 2017);
  • Wood and wood products (HS codes 44-49) - 2.55% of Russia’s total exports to Denmark (3.28% in the 1st quarter of 2017);
  • Food products and agricultural raw materials (HS codes 01-24) - 2.34% of Russia’s total exports to Denmark (2.78% in the 1st quarter of 2017);

Russia’s Imports from Denmark
