Russia’s Trade with Moldova

In the 1st quarter of 2018, Russia’s trade with Moldova totaled $409,799,170, up 32.74% ($101,069,671) from the 1st quarter of 2017.

Russia’s exports to Moldova in the 1st quarter of 2018 totaled $322,210,768, up 38.88% ($90,206,489) from the 1st quarter of 2017.

Russia’s imports from Moldova in the 1st quarter of 2018 totaled $87,588,402, up 14.16% ($10,863,182) from the 1st quarter of 2017.

Russia’s trade surplus with Moldova in the 1st quarter of 2018 was $234,622,366, a 51.10% increase ($79,343,307) over the 1st quarter of 2017.

Moldova was Russia’s 54th largest trading partner in the 1st quarter of 2018 (up from 56th in the 1st quarter of 2017), accounting for 0.2600% of Russia’s total trade (up from 0.2402% in the 1st quarter of 2017).

Moldova was Russia’s 45th largest export market in the 1st quarter of 2018 (up from 48th in the 1st quarter of 2017), accounting for 0.3128% of Russia’s total exports (up from 0.2784% in the 1st quarter of 2017).

Moldova was Russia’s 61st largest supplier in the 1st quarter of 2018 (down from 60th in the 1st quarter of 2017), accounting for 0.1604% of Russia’s total imports (down from 0.1697% in the 1st quarter of 2017).

Russia’s Exports to Moldova

The major share of Russian exports to Moldova in the 1st quarter of 2018 (and in the 1st quarter of 2017) was accounted for the following product types:
