In the 1st quarter of 2018, Russia’s trade with Trinidad and Tobago totaled $269,035,943, up 62.44% ($103,414,782) from the 1st quarter of 2017.

Russia’s exports to Trinidad and Tobago in the 1st quarter of 2018 totaled $268,960,929, up 62.53% ($103,475,353) from the 1st quarter of 2017.

Russia’s imports from Trinidad and Tobago in the 1st quarter of 2018 were $75,014, down 44.67% ($60,571) from the 1st quarter of 2017.

Russia’s trade surplus with Trinidad and Tobago in the 1st quarter of 2018 was $268,885,915, a 62.62% increase ($103,535,924) over the 1st quarter of 2017.

Russia’s Imports from Trinidad and Tobago

The major share of Russian imports from Trinidad and Tobago in the 1st quarter of 2018 (and in the 1st quarter of 2017) was accounted for the following product types:

  • Food products and agricultural raw materials (HS codes 01-24) - 99.47% of Russia’s total imports from Trinidad and Tobago (32.64% in the 1st quarter of 2017);
  • Machinery, equipment and vehicles (HS codes 84-90) - 0.53% of Russia’s total imports from Trinidad and Tobago (1.71% in the 1st quarter of 2017);
