Russia’s Trade with Cambodia

In the 2nd quarter of 2018, Russia’s trade with Cambodia totaled $43,386,671, up 26.95% ($9,209,769) from the 2nd quarter of 2017.

Russia’s exports to Cambodia in the 2nd quarter of 2018 totaled $3,256,099, up 187.55% ($2,123,737) from the 2nd quarter of 2017.

Russia’s imports from Cambodia in the 2nd quarter of 2018 totaled $40,130,572, up 21.44% ($7,086,032) from the 2nd quarter of 2017.

Russia’s trade deficit with Cambodia in the 2nd quarter of 2018 was $36,874,473, a 15.55% increase ($4,962,295) over the 2nd quarter of 2017.

Cambodia was Russia’s 105th largest trading partner in the 2nd quarter of 2018 (up from 107th in the 2nd quarter of 2017), accounting for 0.0254% of Russia’s total trade (up from 0.0245% in the 2nd quarter of 2017).

The largest declines in Russia’s exports to Cambodia in the 2nd quarter of 2018 over the 2nd quarter of 2017 were recorded for the following product groups:

  • Vehicles other than railway or tramway rolling stock, and parts and accessories thereof (HS code 87) - a decrease of $201,560;
  • Nuclear reactors, boilers, machinery and mechanical appliances; parts thereof (HS code 84) - a decrease of $22,508;
  • Animal or vegetable fats and oils and their cleavage products prepared edible fats; animal or vegetable waxes (HS code 15) - a decrease of $21,492;
  • Wood and articles of wood; wood charcoal (HS code 44) - a decrease of $15,993;
  • Articles of stone, plaster, cement, asbestos, mica or similar materials (HS code 68) - a decrease of $10,876.

Russia’s Imports from Cambodia
