Russia’s Trade with France

In the 2nd quarter of 2018, Russia’s trade with France totaled $4,476,061,999, up 18.03% ($683,679,340) from the 2nd quarter of 2017.

Russia’s exports to France in the 2nd quarter of 2018 totaled $1,756,141,828, up 31.39% ($419,505,303) from the 2nd quarter of 2017.

Russia’s imports from France in the 2nd quarter of 2018 totaled $2,719,920,171, up 10.76% ($264,174,037) from the 2nd quarter of 2017.

Russia’s trade deficit with France in the 2nd quarter of 2018 was $963,778,343, a 13.88% decrease ($155,331,266) over the 2nd quarter of 2017.

France was Russia’s 12th largest trading partner in the 2nd quarter of 2018 (just as in the 2nd quarter of 2017), accounting for 2.6189% of Russia’s total trade (down from 2.7135% in the 2nd quarter of 2017).

France was Russia’s 17th largest export market in the 2nd quarter of 2018 (just as in the 2nd quarter of 2017), accounting for 1.5935% of Russia’s total exports (up from 1.5918% in the 2nd quarter of 2017).

France was Russia’s 5th largest supplier in the 2nd quarter of 2018 (just as in the 2nd quarter of 2017), accounting for 4.4803% of Russia’s total imports (up from 4.4022% in the 2nd quarter of 2017).

Russia’s Exports to France

The major share of Russian exports to France in the 2nd quarter of 2018 (and in the 2nd quarter of 2017) was accounted for the following product types:
