Russia’s Trade with Trinidad and Tobago

In the 2nd quarter of 2018, Russia’s trade with Trinidad and Tobago totaled $176,414,561, up 48.56% ($57,662,684) from the 2nd quarter of 2017.

Russia’s exports to Trinidad and Tobago in the 2nd quarter of 2018 totaled $176,272,700, up 48.67% ($57,704,217) from the 2nd quarter of 2017.

Russia’s imports from Trinidad and Tobago in the 2nd quarter of 2018 were $141,861, down 22.65% ($41,533) from the 2nd quarter of 2017.

Russia’s trade surplus with Trinidad and Tobago in the 2nd quarter of 2018 was $176,130,839, a 48.78% increase ($57,745,750) over the 2nd quarter of 2017.

Trinidad and Tobago was Russia’s 77th largest trading partner in the 2nd quarter of 2018 (up from 78th in the 2nd quarter of 2017), accounting for 0.1032% of Russia’s total trade (up from 0.0850% in the 2nd quarter of 2017).

Trinidad and Tobago was Russia’s 65th largest export market in the 2nd quarter of 2018 (up from 67th in the 2nd quarter of 2017), accounting for 0.1600% of Russia’s total exports (up from 0.1412% in the 2nd quarter of 2017).

Trinidad and Tobago was Russia’s 145th largest supplier in the 2nd quarter of 2018 (down from 144th in the 2nd quarter of 2017), accounting for 0.0002% of Russia’s total imports (down from 0.0003% in the 2nd quarter of 2017).

Russia’s Imports from Trinidad and Tobago

The major share of Russian imports from Trinidad and Tobago in the 2nd quarter of 2018 (and in the 2nd quarter of 2017) was accounted for the following product types:

  • Food products and agricultural raw materials (HS codes 01-24) - 98.99% of Russia’s total imports from Trinidad and Tobago (58.45% in the 2nd quarter of 2017);
  • Mineral products (HS codes 25-27) - 1.01% of Russia’s total imports from Trinidad and Tobago (0.00% in the 2nd quarter of 2017);
