Russia’s Trade with Yemen

In the 2nd quarter of 2018, Russia’s trade with Yemen totaled $82,229,878, up 21.33% ($14,456,147) from the 2nd quarter of 2017.

Russia’s exports to Yemen in the 2nd quarter of 2018 totaled $82,114,368, up 21.16% ($14,341,546) from the 2nd quarter of 2017.

Russia’s imports from Yemen in the 2nd quarter of 2018 totaled $115,510, up 12,607.37% ($114,601) from the 2nd quarter of 2017.

Russia’s trade surplus with Yemen in the 2nd quarter of 2018 was $81,998,858, a 20.99% increase ($14,226,945) over the 2nd quarter of 2017.

Yemen was Russia’s 86th largest trading partner in the 2nd quarter of 2018 (up from 92nd in the 2nd quarter of 2017), accounting for 0.0481% of Russia’s total trade (down from 0.0485% in the 2nd quarter of 2017).

Yemen was Russia’s 78th largest export market in the 2nd quarter of 2018 (up from 80th in the 2nd quarter of 2017), accounting for 0.0745% of Russia’s total exports (down from 0.0807% in the 2nd quarter of 2017).

Yemen was Russia’s 147th largest supplier in the 2nd quarter of 2018 (up from 190th in the 2nd quarter of 2017), accounting for 0.0002% of Russia’s total imports (up from 0.0000% in the 2nd quarter of 2017).

The largest declines in Russia’s exports to Yemen in the 2nd quarter of 2018 over the 2nd quarter of 2017 were recorded for the following product groups:

  • Edible vegetables and certain roots and tubers (HS code 07) - a decrease of $572,460.
