Russia’s Trade with Cyprus

In the 3rd quarter of 2018, Russia’s trade with Cyprus totaled $218,049,139, up 285.72% ($161,518,922) from the 3rd quarter of 2017.

Russia’s exports to Cyprus in the 3rd quarter of 2018 totaled $216,139,806, up 295.54% ($161,495,253) from the 3rd quarter of 2017.

Russia’s imports from Cyprus in the 3rd quarter of 2018 totaled $1,909,333, up 1.26% ($23,669) from the 3rd quarter of 2017.

Russia’s trade surplus with Cyprus in the 3rd quarter of 2018 was $214,230,473, a 306.06% increase ($161,471,584) over the 3rd quarter of 2017.

Cyprus was Russia’s 73rd largest trading partner in the 3rd quarter of 2018 (up from 99th in the 3rd quarter of 2017), accounting for 0.1267% of Russia’s total trade (up from 0.0387% in the 3rd quarter of 2017).

Cyprus was Russia’s 56th largest export market in the 3rd quarter of 2018 (up from 86th in the 3rd quarter of 2017), accounting for 0.1926% of Russia’s total exports (up from 0.0640% in the 3rd quarter of 2017).

Cyprus was Russia’s 119th largest supplier in the 3rd quarter of 2018 (up from 122nd in the 3rd quarter of 2017), accounting for 0.0032% of Russia’s total imports (up from 0.0031% in the 3rd quarter of 2017).

Russia’s Exports to Cyprus

The major share of Russian exports to Cyprus in the 3rd quarter of 2018 (and in the 3rd quarter of 2017) was accounted for the following product types:

  • Machinery, equipment and vehicles (HS codes 84-90) - 13.57% of Russia’s total exports to Cyprus (5.44% in the 3rd quarter of 2017);
