Russia’s Trade with Moldova

In the 3rd quarter of 2018, Russia’s trade with Moldova totaled $355,646,271, up 27.57% ($76,866,237) from the 3rd quarter of 2017.

Russia’s exports to Moldova in the 3rd quarter of 2018 totaled $266,669,071, up 38.98% ($74,795,370) from the 3rd quarter of 2017.

Russia’s imports from Moldova in the 3rd quarter of 2018 totaled $88,977,200, up 2.38% ($2,070,867) from the 3rd quarter of 2017.

Russia’s trade surplus with Moldova in the 3rd quarter of 2018 was $177,691,871, a 69.28% increase ($72,724,503) over the 3rd quarter of 2017.

Moldova was Russia’s 55th largest trading partner in the 3rd quarter of 2018 (up from 61st in the 3rd quarter of 2017), accounting for 0.2067% of Russia’s total trade (up from 0.1907% in the 3rd quarter of 2017).

Moldova was Russia’s 49th largest export market in the 3rd quarter of 2018 (up from 56th in the 3rd quarter of 2017), accounting for 0.2377% of Russia’s total exports (up from 0.2248% in the 3rd quarter of 2017).

Moldova was Russia’s 58th largest supplier in the 3rd quarter of 2018 (just as in the 3rd quarter of 2017), accounting for 0.1486% of Russia’s total imports (up from 0.1429% in the 3rd quarter of 2017).

Russia’s Exports to Moldova

The major share of Russian exports to Moldova in the 3rd quarter of 2018 (and in the 3rd quarter of 2017) was accounted for the following product types:
