Russia’s Trade with North Korea

In the 3rd quarter of 2018, Russia’s trade with North Korea was $6,447,792, down 50.87% ($6,674,977) from the 3rd quarter of 2017.

Russia’s exports to North Korea in the 3rd quarter of 2018 were $5,823,912, down 50.15% ($5,860,107) from the 3rd quarter of 2017.

Russia’s imports from North Korea in the 3rd quarter of 2018 were $623,880, down 56.64% ($814,870) from the 3rd quarter of 2017.

Russia’s trade surplus with North Korea in the 3rd quarter of 2018 was $5,200,032, a 49.24% decrease ($5,045,237) over the 3rd quarter of 2017.

North Korea was Russia’s 142nd largest trading partner in the 3rd quarter of 2018 (down from 129th in the 3rd quarter of 2017), accounting for 0.0037% of Russia’s total trade (down from 0.0090% in the 3rd quarter of 2017).

  • Tanning or dyeing extracts; dyes, pigments, paints, varnishes, putty and mastics (HS code 32) - an increase of $21,630;
