In 2018, Russia’s trade with Bosnia and Herzegovina was $191,522,642, down 1.18% ($2,296,712) from 2017.

Russia’s exports to Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2018 totaled $86,518,159, up 18.84% ($13,714,437) from 2017.

Russia’s imports from Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2018 were $105,004,483, down 13.23% ($16,011,149) from 2017.

Russia’s trade deficit with Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2018 was $18,486,324, a 61.66% decrease ($29,725,586) over 2017.

Bosnia and Herzegovina was Russia’s 104th largest trading partner in 2018 (down from 102nd in 2017), accounting for 0.0278% of Russia’s total trade (down from 0.0332% in 2017).

  • Edible vegetables and certain roots and tubers (HS code 07) - an increase of $267,437.

The largest declines in Russia’s exports to Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2018 over 2017 were recorded for the following product groups:

  • Iron and steel (HS code 72) - a decrease of $3,148,306;
  • Nuclear reactors, boilers, machinery and mechanical appliances; parts thereof (HS code 84) - a decrease of $2,850,248;
  • Pulp of wood or of other fibrous cellulosic material; waste and scrap of paper or paperboard (HS code 47) - a decrease of $436,919;
  • Tobacco and manufactured tobacco substitutes (HS code 24) - a decrease of $385,663.
