Russia’s Trade with Canada

In the 1st quarter of 2019, Russia’s trade with Canada totaled $357,389,956, up 34.32% ($91,323,710) from the 1st quarter of 2018.

Russia’s exports to Canada in the 1st quarter of 2019 totaled $209,843,422, up 117.66% ($113,434,422) from the 1st quarter of 2018.

Russia’s imports from Canada in the 1st quarter of 2019 were $147,546,534, down 13.03% ($22,110,712) from the 1st quarter of 2018.

Russia’s trade balance with Canada went from a deficit of $73,248,246 in the 1st quarter of 2018, to a surplus of $62,296,888 in the 1st quarter of 2019.

Canada was Russia’s 59th largest trading partner in the 1st quarter of 2019 (up from 65th in the 1st quarter of 2018), accounting for 0.2270% of Russia’s total trade (up from 0.1688% in the 1st quarter of 2018).
