The major trading partners of Russia in Europe in the 1st quarter of 2019:

The top ten Russia’s trade partners in Europe in the 1st quarter of 2019 were Germany (8.8267% of Russia’s total foreign trade), the Netherlands (8.2311%), Belarus (4.7356%), Italy (3.7462%), Poland (2.4455%), France (2.2579%), Ukraine (2.0575%), Finland (1.9963%), the United Kingdom (1.8243%), and Belgium (1.6892%);

The top ten Russia’s export markets in Europe in the 1st quarter of 2019 were the Netherlands (11.6753% of Russia’s total exports), Germany (8.4946%), Belarus (4.5359%), Italy (3.6573%), Poland (2.6518%), Finland (2.3976%), Belgium (2.0343%), Ukraine (2.0159%), the United Kingdom (1.9249%), and France (1.7245%);

The top ten Russia’s import suppliers from Europe in the 1st quarter of 2019 were Germany (9.4801% of Russia’s total imports), Belarus (5.1284%), Italy (3.9212%), France (3.3074%), Ukraine (2.1393%), Poland (2.0395%), the United Kingdom (1.6263%), the Czech Republic (1.4720%), the Netherlands (1.4535%), and Spain (1.3059%).

The most notable changes in Russia's trade with the countries of Europe in the 1st quarter of 2019 over the 1st quarter of 2018:

  • The share of Poland in Russia’s total exports declined from 3.8213% in the 1st quarter of the 2018 to 2.6518% in the 1st quarter of the 2019;
  • The share of Belgium in Russia’s total exports declined from 2.5142% in the 1st quarter of the 2018 to 2.0343% in the 1st quarter of the 2019;
  • The share of the United Kingdom in Russia’s total exports declined from 2.3224% in the 1st quarter of the 2018 to 1.9249% in the 1st quarter of the 2019;
  • The share of Malta in Russia’s total exports declined from 1.1670% in the 1st quarter of the 2018 to 0.8896% in the 1st quarter of the 2019;
  • The share of Austria in Russia’s total exports rose from 0.9183% in the 1st quarter of the 2018 to 1.4318% in the 1st quarter of the 2019;
  • The share of Sweden in Russia’s total exports declined from 0.8561% in the 1st quarter of the 2018 to 0.5168% in the 1st quarter of the 2019;
  • The share of Switzerland in Russia’s total exports rose from 0.6472% in the 1st quarter of the 2018 to 1.0431% in the 1st quarter of the 2019;
  • The share of Croatia in Russia’s total exports rose from 0.2634% in the 1st quarter of the 2018 to 0.5204% in the 1st quarter of the 2019;
  • The share of Cyprus in Russia’s total exports rose 2.2-fold from 0.1273% in the 1st quarter of the 2018 to 0.2850% in the 1st quarter of the 2019;
  • The share of France in Russia’s total imports declined from 4.6293% in the 1st quarter of the 2018 to 3.3074% in the 1st quarter of the 2019;
  • The share of Finland in Russia’s total imports declined from 1.4803% in the 1st quarter of the 2018 to 1.2065% in the 1st quarter of the 2019;
  • The share of Malta in Russia’s total imports declined 3.8-fold from 0.0190% in the 1st quarter of the 2018 to 0.0050% in the 1st quarter of the 2019.
