Russia’s Trade with Lithuania

In the 1st quarter of 2019, Russia’s trade with Lithuania was $1,121,506,441, down 12.44% ($159,276,183) from the 1st quarter of 2018.

Russia’s exports to Lithuania in the 1st quarter of 2019 were $994,957,257, down 14.43% ($167,760,502) from the 1st quarter of 2018.

Russia’s imports from Lithuania in the 1st quarter of 2019 totaled $126,549,184, up 7.19% ($8,484,319) from the 1st quarter of 2018.

Russia’s trade surplus with Lithuania in the 1st quarter of 2019 was $868,408,073, a 16.87% decrease ($176,244,821) over the 1st quarter of 2018.

Lithuania was Russia’s 28th largest trading partner in the 1st quarter of 2019 (down from 26th in the 1st quarter of 2018), accounting for 0.7124% of Russia’s total trade (down from 0.8125% in the 1st quarter of 2018).

Lithuania was Russia’s 25th largest export market in the 1st quarter of 2019 (down from 20th in the 1st quarter of 2018), accounting for 0.9532% of Russia’s total exports (down from 1.1286% in the 1st quarter of 2018).

Lithuania was Russia’s 53rd largest supplier in the 1st quarter of 2019 (up from 56th in the 1st quarter of 2018), accounting for 0.2386% of Russia’s total imports (up from 0.2162% in the 1st quarter of 2018).

Russia’s Exports to Lithuania

The major share of Russian exports to Lithuania in the 1st quarter of 2019 (and in the 1st quarter of 2018) was accounted for the following product types:

  • Mineral products (HS codes 25-27) - 74.63% of Russia’s total exports to Lithuania (74.71% in the 1st quarter of 2018);
