Russia’s Trade with Kazakhstan

In the 2nd quarter of 2019, Russia’s trade with Kazakhstan totaled $4,846,061,223, up 4.32% ($200,686,702) from the 2nd quarter of 2018.

Russia’s exports to Kazakhstan in the 2nd quarter of 2019 totaled $3,415,044,341, up 6.85% ($218,835,157) from the 2nd quarter of 2018.

Russia’s imports from Kazakhstan in the 2nd quarter of 2019 were $1,431,016,882, down 1.25% ($18,148,455) from the 2nd quarter of 2018.

Russia’s trade surplus with Kazakhstan in the 2nd quarter of 2019 was $1,984,027,459, a 13.56% increase ($236,983,612) over the 2nd quarter of 2018.

Kazakhstan was Russia’s 10th largest trading partner in the 2nd quarter of 2019 (up from 11th in the 2nd quarter of 2018), accounting for 3.0271% of Russia’s total trade (up from 2.7180% in the 2nd quarter of 2018).

Kazakhstan was Russia’s 9th largest export market in the 2nd quarter of 2019 (up from 10th in the 2nd quarter of 2018), accounting for 3.3892% of Russia’s total exports (up from 2.9003% in the 2nd quarter of 2018).

Kazakhstan was Russia’s 9th largest supplier in the 2nd quarter of 2019 (just as in the 2nd quarter of 2018), accounting for 2.4122% of Russia’s total imports (up from 2.3871% in the 2nd quarter of 2018).

Russia’s Exports to Kazakhstan

The major share of Russian exports to Kazakhstan in the 2nd quarter of 2019 (and in the 2nd quarter of 2018) was accounted for the following product types:
