Russia’s Trade with New Zealand

In the 2nd quarter of 2019, Russia’s trade with New Zealand totaled $115,633,969, up 222.96% ($79,829,612) from the 2nd quarter of 2018.

Russia’s exports to New Zealand in the 2nd quarter of 2019 totaled $68,889,083, up 4,891.20% ($67,508,871) from the 2nd quarter of 2018.

Russia’s imports from New Zealand in the 2nd quarter of 2019 totaled $46,744,886, up 35.79% ($12,320,741) from the 2nd quarter of 2018.

Russia’s trade balance with New Zealand went from a deficit of $33,043,933 in the 2nd quarter of 2018, to a surplus of $22,144,197 in the 2nd quarter of 2019.

New Zealand was Russia’s 81st largest trading partner in the 2nd quarter of 2019 (up from 110th in the 2nd quarter of 2018), accounting for 0.0722% of Russia’s total trade (up from 0.0209% in the 2nd quarter of 2018).

New Zealand was Russia’s 80th largest export market in the 2nd quarter of 2019 (up from 153rd in the 2nd quarter of 2018), accounting for 0.0684% of Russia’s total exports (up from 0.0013% in the 2nd quarter of 2018).

New Zealand was Russia’s 73rd largest supplier in the 2nd quarter of 2019 (up from 79th in the 2nd quarter of 2018), accounting for 0.0788% of Russia’s total imports (up from 0.0567% in the 2nd quarter of 2018).

Russia’s Exports to New Zealand

The major share of Russian exports to New Zealand in the 2nd quarter of 2019 (and in the 2nd quarter of 2018) was accounted for the following product types:

Russia’s Imports from New Zealand
