Russia will limit imports of Moldovan meat beginning July 5. Russian Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance imposed restrictions due to gross violations of veterinary and sanitary requirements by Moldovan producers. That decision was made after Moldova signed the free trade and political cooperation agreement with the European Union last week.
