In 2011, Russia’s trade with Greece totaled $5,269,664,107, up 60.87% ($1,994,005,463) from 2010.

Russia’s exports to Greece in 2011 totaled $4,683,819,503, up 64.20% ($1,831,390,881) from 2010.

Russia’s imports from Greece in 2011 totaled $585,844,604, up 38.42% ($162,614,582) from 2010.

Russia’s trade surplus with Greece in 2011 was $4,097,974,899, a 68.70% increase ($1,668,776,299) over 2010.

Greece was Russia’s 27th largest trading partner in 2011 (up from 33rd in 2010), accounting for 0.6407% of Russia’s total trade (up from 0.5233% in 2010).

Greece was Russia’s 26th largest export market in 2011 (up from 28th in 2010), accounting for 0.9065% of Russia’s total exports (up from 0.7184% in 2010).

Greece was Russia’s 48th largest supplier in 2011 (up from 50th in 2010), accounting for 0.1916% of Russia’s total imports (up from 0.1849% in 2010).

The major share of Russian exports to Greece in 2011 (and in 2010) was accounted for the following product types:

  • Metals and products from them (HS codes 72-83) - 6.76% of Russia’s total exports to Greece (5.39% in 2010);
