In 2011, Russia’s trade with Spain totaled $10,471,177,889, up 47.69% ($3,381,215,804) from 2010.

Russia’s exports to Spain in 2011 totaled $6,165,108,644, up 52.30% ($2,117,186,345) from 2010.

Russia’s imports from Spain in 2011 totaled $4,306,069,245, up 41.55% ($1,264,029,459) from 2010.

Russia’s trade surplus with Spain in 2011 was $1,859,039,399, a 84.82% increase ($853,156,886) over 2010.

Spain was Russia’s 19th largest trading partner in 2011 (up from 21st in 2010), accounting for 1.2731% of Russia’s total trade (up from 1.1326% in 2010).

Spain was Russia’s 22nd largest export market in 2011 (up from 23rd in 2010), accounting for 1.1931% of Russia’s total exports (up from 1.0195% in 2010).

Spain was Russia’s 18th largest supplier in 2011 (up from 19th in 2010), accounting for 1.4083% of Russia’s total imports (up from 1.3289% in 2010).

Russia’s Exports to Spain

The major share of Russian exports to Spain in 2011 (and in 2010) was accounted for the following product types:

  • Metals and products from them (HS codes 72-83) - 5.50% of Russia’s total exports to Spain (8.86% in 2010);
