In 2011, Russia’s trade with Switzerland totaled $14,415,504,484, up 29.51% ($3,284,419,570) from 2010.

Russia’s exports to Switzerland in 2011 totaled $11,447,858,727, up 31.34% ($2,731,579,666) from 2010.

Russia’s imports from Switzerland in 2011 totaled $2,967,645,757, up 22.89% ($552,839,904) from 2010.

Russia’s trade surplus with Switzerland in 2011 was $8,480,212,970, a 34.58% increase ($2,178,739,762) over 2010.

Switzerland was Russia’s 16th largest trading partner in 2011 (just as in 2010), accounting for 1.7527% of Russia’s total trade (down from 1.7782% in 2010).

Switzerland was Russia’s 16th largest export market in 2011 (just as in 2010), accounting for 2.2155% of Russia’s total exports (up from 2.1952% in 2010).

  • Precious metals and stones (HS code 71) - 21.68% of Russia’s total exports to Switzerland (11.64% in 2010);
  • Metals and products from them (HS codes 72-83) - 17.08% of Russia’s total exports to Switzerland (26.19% in 2010);
  • Chemical products (HS codes 28-40) - 4.82% of Russia’s total exports to Switzerland (7.74% in 2010).
