In 2011, Russia’s trade with the Philippines totaled $1,643,476,818, up 53.97% ($576,075,141) from 2010.

Russia’s exports to the Philippines in 2011 totaled $1,244,861,458, up 63.08% ($481,516,156) from 2010.

Russia’s imports from the Philippines in 2011 totaled $398,615,360, up 31.10% ($94,558,985) from 2010.

Russia’s trade surplus with the Philippines in 2011 was $846,246,098, a 84.25% increase ($386,957,171) over 2010.

The Philippines was Russia’s 53rd largest trading partner in 2011 (up from 57th in 2010), accounting for 0.1998% of Russia’s total trade (up from 0.1705% in 2010).

The Philippines was Russia’s 51st largest export market in 2011 (up from 55th in 2010), accounting for 0.2409% of Russia’s total exports (up from 0.1922% in 2010).

The Philippines was Russia’s 57th largest supplier in 2011 (up from 62nd in 2010), accounting for 0.1304% of Russia’s total imports (down from 0.1328% in 2010).

The major share of Russian exports to the Philippines in 2011 (and in 2010) was accounted for the following product types:

  • Mineral products (HS codes 25-27) - 91.81% of Russia’s total exports to the Philippines (62.29% in 2010);
  • Metals and products from them (HS codes 72-83) - 4.84% of Russia’s total exports to the Philippines (36.31% in 2010).

The largest gains in Russia’s exports to the Philippines in 2011 over 2010 were recorded for the following product groups:

  • Mineral fuels, mineral oils and products of their distillation; bituminous substances; mineral waxes (HS code 27) - an increase of $667,443,351;

Russia’s Imports from the Philippines

The major share of Russian imports from the Philippines in 2011 (and in 2010) was accounted for the following product types:
