In 2012, Russia’s trade with Cuba was $219,565,928, down 0.28% ($614,404) from 2011.

Russia’s exports to Cuba in 2012 were $169,983,222, down 0.33% ($558,167) from 2011.

Russia’s imports from Cuba in 2012 were $49,582,706, down 0.11% ($56,237) from 2011.

Russia’s trade surplus with Cuba in 2012 was $120,400,516, a 0.42% decrease ($501,930) over 2011.

Cuba was Russia’s 94th largest trading partner in 2012 (up from 96th in 2011), accounting for 0.0261% of Russia’s total trade (down from 0.0268% in 2011).

Cuba was Russia’s 90th largest export market in 2012 (down from 85th in 2011), accounting for 0.0324% of Russia’s total exports (down from 0.0330% in 2011).

Cuba was Russia’s 95th largest supplier in 2012 (up from 97th in 2011), accounting for 0.0156% of Russia’s total imports (down from 0.0162% in 2011).

  • Chemical products (HS codes 28-40) - 9.97% of Russia’s total exports to Cuba (10.93% in 2011);
  • Wood and wood products (HS codes 44-49) - 7.91% of Russia’s total exports to Cuba (7.52% in 2011);
  • Mineral products (HS codes 25-27) - 6.62% of Russia’s total exports to Cuba (1.29% in 2011);

  • Articles of iron or steel (HS code 73) - an increase of $1,366,322;
