In 2013, Russia’s trade with the Philippines totaled $1,778,395,126, up 7.96% ($131,129,567) from 2012.

Russia’s exports to the Philippines in 2013 totaled $1,323,866,411, up 11.88% ($140,559,025) from 2012.

Russia’s imports from the Philippines in 2013 were $454,528,715, down 2.03% ($9,429,458) from 2012.

Russia’s trade surplus with the Philippines in 2013 was $869,337,696, a 20.85% increase ($149,988,483) over 2012.

The Philippines was Russia’s 53rd largest trading partner in 2013 (up from 56th in 2012), accounting for 0.2112% of Russia’s total trade (up from 0.1956% in 2012).

The Philippines was Russia’s 49th largest export market in 2013 (up from 54th in 2012), accounting for 0.2511% of Russia’s total exports (up from 0.2255% in 2012).

The Philippines was Russia’s 58th largest supplier in 2013 (down from 56th in 2012), accounting for 0.1443% of Russia’s total imports (down from 0.1462% in 2012).

The major share of Russian exports to the Philippines in 2013 (and in 2012) was accounted for the following product types:

  • Mineral products (HS codes 25-27) - 91.38% of Russia’s total exports to the Philippines (87.11% in 2012);
  • Metals and products from them (HS codes 72-83) - 4.41% of Russia’s total exports to the Philippines (7.12% in 2012);
  • Food products and agricultural raw materials (HS codes 01-24) - 2.18% of Russia’s total exports to the Philippines (0.01% in 2012);
  • Wood and wood products (HS codes 44-49) - 1.50% of Russia’s total exports to the Philippines (1.30% in 2012).

Russia’s Imports from the Philippines
