Russia’s Trade with Italy

In the 3rd quarter of 2016, Russia’s trade with Italy was $5,022,361,349, down 30.83% ($2,238,219,134) from the 3rd quarter of 2015.

Russia’s exports to Italy in the 3rd quarter of 2016 were $2,969,023,448, down 41.15% ($2,075,965,780) from the 3rd quarter of 2015.

Russia’s imports from Italy in the 3rd quarter of 2016 were $2,053,337,901, down 7.32% ($162,253,354) from the 3rd quarter of 2015.

Russia’s trade surplus with Italy in the 3rd quarter of 2016 was $915,685,547, a 67.64% decrease ($1,913,712,426) over the 3rd quarter of 2015.

Italy was Russia’s 6th largest trading partner in the 3rd quarter of 2016 (down from 4th in the 3rd quarter of 2015), accounting for 4.1193% of Russia’s total trade (down from 5.7208% in the 3rd quarter of 2015).

  • Metals and products from them (HS codes 72-83) - 6.77% of Russia’s total exports to Italy (3.51% in the 3rd quarter of 2015);
