Russia’s Trade with Sri Lanka

In the 4th quarter of 2016, Russia’s trade with Sri Lanka was $94,032,783, down 14.39% ($15,808,734) from the 4th quarter of 2015.

Russia’s exports to Sri Lanka in the 4th quarter of 2016 were $17,360,874, down 46.21% ($14,916,062) from the 4th quarter of 2015.

Russia’s imports from Sri Lanka in the 4th quarter of 2016 were $76,671,909, down 1.15% ($892,672) from the 4th quarter of 2015.

Russia’s trade deficit with Sri Lanka in the 4th quarter of 2016 was $59,311,035, a 30.97% increase ($14,023,390) over the 4th quarter of 2015.

Sri Lanka was Russia’s 87th largest trading partner in the 4th quarter of 2016 (down from 79th in the 4th quarter of 2015), accounting for 0.0690% of Russia’s total trade (down from 0.0840% in the 4th quarter of 2015).

Sri Lanka was Russia’s 105th largest export market in the 4th quarter of 2016 (down from 91st in the 4th quarter of 2015), accounting for 0.0207% of Russia’s total exports (down from 0.0392% in the 4th quarter of 2015).

Sri Lanka was Russia’s 62nd largest supplier in the 4th quarter of 2016 (down from 61st in the 4th quarter of 2015), accounting for 0.1462% of Russia’s total imports (down from 0.1605% in the 4th quarter of 2015).

  • Cereals (HS code 10) - a decrease of $5,156,071;
  • Rubber and articles thereof (HS code 40) - a decrease of $737,082;

Russia’s Imports from Sri Lanka
