Russia’s exports to Syria in 2016 were $182,254,339, down 40.69% ($125,020,316) from 2015.

Russia’s imports from Syria in 2016 totaled $11,020,627, up 110.50% ($5,785,153) from 2015.

Russia’s trade surplus with Syria in 2016 was $171,233,712, a 43.31% decrease ($130,805,469) over 2015.

Syria was Russia’s 99th largest trading partner in 2016 (down from 85th in 2015), accounting for 0.0413% of Russia’s total trade (down from 0.0594% in 2015).

The largest declines in Russia’s exports to Syria in 2016 over 2015 were recorded for the following product groups:
