Russia’s Trade with Uruguay
In the 4th quarter of 2016, Russia’s trade with Uruguay totaled $50,541,007, up 28.29% ($11,145,936) from the 4th quarter of 2015.
Russia’s exports to Uruguay in the 4th quarter of 2016 were $4,069,705, down 69.36% ($9,211,315) from the 4th quarter of 2015.
Russia’s imports from Uruguay in the 4th quarter of 2016 totaled $46,471,302, up 77.96% ($20,357,251) from the 4th quarter of 2015.
Russia’s trade deficit with Uruguay in the 4th quarter of 2016 was $42,401,597, a 230.41% increase ($29,568,566) over the 4th quarter of 2015.
Uruguay was Russia’s 98th largest trading partner in the 4th quarter of 2016 (up from 101st in the 4th quarter of 2015), accounting for 0.0371% of Russia’s total trade (up from 0.0301% in the 4th quarter of 2015).
Uruguay was Russia’s 128th largest export market in the 4th quarter of 2016 (down from 114th in the 4th quarter of 2015), accounting for 0.0049% of Russia’s total exports (down from 0.0161% in the 4th quarter of 2015).
Uruguay was Russia’s 70th largest supplier in the 4th quarter of 2016 (up from 80th in the 4th quarter of 2015), accounting for 0.0886% of Russia’s total imports (up from 0.0540% in the 4th quarter of 2015).

The major share of Russian exports to Uruguay in the 4th quarter of 2016 (and in the 4th quarter of 2015) was accounted for the following product types:

- Machinery, equipment and vehicles (HS codes 84-90) - 34.21% of Russia’s total exports to Uruguay (1.53% in the 4th quarter of 2015);
