In the 1st quarter of 2017, Russia’s trade with Ethiopia totaled $27,739,037, up 253.42% ($19,890,283) from the 1st quarter of 2016.

Russia’s exports to Ethiopia in the 1st quarter of 2017 totaled $22,933,227, up 412.43% ($18,457,862) from the 1st quarter of 2016.

Russia’s imports from Ethiopia in the 1st quarter of 2017 totaled $4,805,810, up 42.46% ($1,432,421) from the 1st quarter of 2016.

Russia’s trade surplus with Ethiopia in the 1st quarter of 2017 was $18,127,417, a 1,544.99% increase ($17,025,441) over the 1st quarter of 2016.

Ethiopia was Russia’s 109th largest trading partner in the 1st quarter of 2017 (up from 128th in the 1st quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.0216% of Russia’s total trade (up from 0.0081% in the 1st quarter of 2016).

  • Textiles, textile products and footwear (HS codes 50-67) - 2.16% of Russia’s total imports from Ethiopia (0.85% in the 1st quarter of 2016).
