Russia’s Trade with Croatia

In the 2nd quarter of 2017, Russia’s trade with Croatia totaled $315,765,990, up 44.26% ($96,881,610) from the 2nd quarter of 2016.

Russia’s exports to Croatia in the 2nd quarter of 2017 totaled $262,741,433, up 51.42% ($89,220,874) from the 2nd quarter of 2016.

Russia’s imports from Croatia in the 2nd quarter of 2017 totaled $53,024,557, up 16.89% ($7,660,736) from the 2nd quarter of 2016.

Russia’s trade surplus with Croatia in the 2nd quarter of 2017 was $209,716,876, a 63.64% increase ($81,560,138) over the 2nd quarter of 2016.

Croatia was Russia’s 57th largest trading partner in the 2nd quarter of 2017 (up from 62nd in the 2nd quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.2259% of Russia’s total trade (up from 0.2011% in the 2nd quarter of 2016).

Croatia was Russia’s 44th largest export market in the 2nd quarter of 2017 (up from 51st in the 2nd quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.3129% of Russia’s total exports (up from 0.2611% in the 2nd quarter of 2016).

Croatia was Russia’s 69th largest supplier in the 2nd quarter of 2017 (down from 68th in the 2nd quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.0951% of Russia’s total imports (down from 0.1070% in the 2nd quarter of 2016).

Russia’s Exports to Croatia

The major share of Russian exports to Croatia in the 2nd quarter of 2017 (and in the 2nd quarter of 2016) was accounted for the following product types:

  • Mineral products (HS codes 25-27) - 94.19% of Russia’s total exports to Croatia (94.16% in the 2nd quarter of 2016);
  • Metals and products from them (HS codes 72-83) - 2.36% of Russia’s total exports to Croatia (2.84% in the 2nd quarter of 2016);
  • Chemical products (HS codes 28-40) - 1.94% of Russia’s total exports to Croatia (1.23% in the 2nd quarter of 2016).
