The top ten Russia’s export markets in Europe in the 2nd quarter of 2017 were the Netherlands (10.9331% of Russia’s total exports), Germany (6.3742%), Belarus (5.2583%), Italy (4.3974%), Poland (3.1756%), Finland (2.6256%), the United Kingdom (2.3916%), Ukraine (2.3126%), Belgium (2.0473%), and France (1.5918%);

- The share of Switzerland in Russia’s total exports declined from 1.1733% in the 2nd quarter of the 2016 to 0.6596% in the 2nd quarter of the 2017;
- The share of Sweden in Russia’s total exports declined from 0.6091% in the 2nd quarter of the 2016 to 0.3660% in the 2nd quarter of the 2017;
- The share of Faroe Islands in Russia’s total exports declined 10.9-fold from 0.0598% in the 2nd quarter of the 2016 to 0.0055% in the 2nd quarter of the 2017;
- The share of Macedonia in Russia’s total exports declined 5.5-fold from 0.0368% in the 2nd quarter of the 2016 to 0.0067% in the 2nd quarter of the 2017;
- The share of France in Russia’s total imports rose from 3.5767% in the 2nd quarter of the 2016 to 4.4022% in the 2nd quarter of the 2017;
- The share of Switzerland in Russia’s total imports declined from 1.2929% in the 2nd quarter of the 2016 to 0.8816% in the 2nd quarter of the 2017;
- The share of Norway in Russia’s total imports rose 4.1-fold from 0.1161% in the 2nd quarter of the 2016 to 0.4777% in the 2nd quarter of the 2017;
