Russia’s Trade with South Africa

In the 2nd quarter of 2017, Russia’s trade with South Africa totaled $218,415,613, up 2.03% ($4,355,020) from the 2nd quarter of 2016.

Russia’s exports to South Africa in the 2nd quarter of 2017 were $49,362,266, down 25.52% ($16,911,933) from the 2nd quarter of 2016.

Russia’s imports from South Africa in the 2nd quarter of 2017 totaled $169,053,347, up 14.39% ($21,266,953) from the 2nd quarter of 2016.

Russia’s trade deficit with South Africa in the 2nd quarter of 2017 was $119,691,081, a 46.84% increase ($38,178,886) over the 2nd quarter of 2016.

South Africa was Russia’s 65th largest trading partner in the 2nd quarter of 2017 (down from 63rd in the 2nd quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.1563% of Russia’s total trade (down from 0.1967% in the 2nd quarter of 2016).

South Africa was Russia’s 86th largest export market in the 2nd quarter of 2017 (down from 71st in the 2nd quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.0588% of Russia’s total exports (down from 0.0997% in the 2nd quarter of 2016).
