Russia’s Trade with Indonesia

In the 1st quarter of 2018, Russia’s trade with Indonesia was $575,914,676, down 14.91% ($100,927,223) from the 1st quarter of 2017.

Russia’s exports to Indonesia in the 1st quarter of 2018 were $141,408,637, down 11.95% ($19,183,631) from the 1st quarter of 2017.

Russia’s imports from Indonesia in the 1st quarter of 2018 were $434,506,039, down 15.83% ($81,743,592) from the 1st quarter of 2017.

Russia’s trade deficit with Indonesia in the 1st quarter of 2018 was $293,097,402, a 17.59% decrease ($62,559,961) over the 1st quarter of 2017.

Indonesia was Russia’s 43rd largest trading partner in the 1st quarter of 2018 (down from 37th in the 1st quarter of 2017), accounting for 0.3654% of Russia’s total trade (down from 0.5265% in the 1st quarter of 2017).

Indonesia was Russia’s 65th largest export market in the 1st quarter of 2018 (down from 57th in the 1st quarter of 2017), accounting for 0.1373% of Russia’s total exports (down from 0.1927% in the 1st quarter of 2017).

Indonesia was Russia’s 28th largest supplier in the 1st quarter of 2018 (down from 22nd in the 1st quarter of 2017), accounting for 0.7957% of Russia’s total imports (down from 1.1417% in the 1st quarter of 2017).

Russia’s Exports to Indonesia

The major share of Russian exports to Indonesia in the 1st quarter of 2018 (and in the 1st quarter of 2017) was accounted for the following product types:

  • Metals and products from them (HS codes 72-83) - 32.36% of Russia’s total exports to Indonesia (15.32% in the 1st quarter of 2017);
  • Chemical products (HS codes 28-40) - 22.93% of Russia’s total exports to Indonesia (24.21% in the 1st quarter of 2017);
  • Food products and agricultural raw materials (HS codes 01-24) - 21.64% of Russia’s total exports to Indonesia (23.67% in the 1st quarter of 2017);
  • Mineral products (HS codes 25-27) - 13.44% of Russia’s total exports to Indonesia (12.95% in the 1st quarter of 2017);

Russia’s Imports from Indonesia
