Russia’s Trade with South Africa
In the 1st quarter of 2018, Russia’s trade with South Africa totaled $159,702,499, up 21.47% ($28,228,268) from the 1st quarter of 2017.
Russia’s exports to South Africa in the 1st quarter of 2018 totaled $27,756,807, up 60.30% ($10,441,163) from the 1st quarter of 2017.
Russia’s imports from South Africa in the 1st quarter of 2018 totaled $131,945,692, up 15.58% ($17,787,105) from the 1st quarter of 2017.
Russia’s trade deficit with South Africa in the 1st quarter of 2018 was $104,188,885, a 7.59% increase ($7,345,942) over the 1st quarter of 2017.
South Africa was Russia’s 76th largest trading partner in the 1st quarter of 2018 (down from 73rd in the 1st quarter of 2017), accounting for 0.1013% of Russia’s total trade (down from 0.1023% in the 1st quarter of 2017).
