Russia’s Trade with South Ossetia

In the 1st quarter of 2018, Russia’s trade with South Ossetia totaled $16,366,714, up 25.83% ($3,359,894) from the 1st quarter of 2017.

Russia’s exports to South Ossetia in the 1st quarter of 2018 totaled $12,888,898, up 10.91% ($1,268,346) from the 1st quarter of 2017.

Russia’s imports from South Ossetia in the 1st quarter of 2018 totaled $3,477,816, up 150.88% ($2,091,548) from the 1st quarter of 2017.

Russia’s trade surplus with South Ossetia in the 1st quarter of 2018 was $9,411,082, a 8.04% decrease ($823,202) over the 1st quarter of 2017.

South Ossetia was Russia’s 126th largest trading partner in the 1st quarter of 2018 (down from 122nd in the 1st quarter of 2017), accounting for 0.0104% of Russia’s total trade (up from 0.0101% in the 1st quarter of 2017).
