Russia’s Trade with Montenegro

In the 2nd quarter of 2018, Russia’s trade with Montenegro totaled $10,659,927, up 259.50% ($7,694,717) from the 2nd quarter of 2017.

Russia’s exports to Montenegro in the 2nd quarter of 2018 were $1,308,070, down 27.54% ($497,235) from the 2nd quarter of 2017.

Russia’s imports from Montenegro in the 2nd quarter of 2018 totaled $9,351,857, up 706.26% ($8,191,952) from the 2nd quarter of 2017.

Russia’s trade balance with Montenegro went from a surplus of $645,400 in the 2nd quarter of 2017, to a deficit of $8,043,787 in the 2nd quarter of 2018.

Montenegro was Russia’s 133rd largest trading partner in the 2nd quarter of 2018 (up from 153rd in the 2nd quarter of 2017), accounting for 0.0062% of Russia’s total trade (up from 0.0021% in the 2nd quarter of 2017).

  • Beverages, spirits and vinegar (HS code 22) - a decrease of $40,871;
  • Miscellaneous edible preparations (HS code 21) - a decrease of $37,684;
  • Iron and steel (HS code 72) - a decrease of $27,004;
  • Electrical machinery and equipment and parts thereof; sound recorders and reproducers, television image and sound recorders and reproducers, and parts and accessories of such articles (HS code 85) - a decrease of $21,482;
  • Pharmaceutical products (HS code 30) - a decrease of $11,002;
  • Cocoa and cocoa preparations (HS code 18) - a decrease of $9,478.
