Russia’s Trade with Cote d’Ivoire

In the 4th quarter of 2018, Russia’s trade with Cote d’Ivoire totaled $85,123,354, up 39.53% ($24,118,173) from the 4th quarter of 2017.

Russia’s exports to Cote d’Ivoire in the 4th quarter of 2018 totaled $21,502,116, up 123.41% ($11,877,435) from the 4th quarter of 2017.

Russia’s imports from Cote d’Ivoire in the 4th quarter of 2018 totaled $63,621,238, up 23.82% ($12,240,738) from the 4th quarter of 2017.

Russia’s trade deficit with Cote d’Ivoire in the 4th quarter of 2018 was $42,119,122, a 0.87% increase ($363,303) over the 4th quarter of 2017.

Cote d’Ivoire was Russia’s 92nd largest trading partner in the 4th quarter of 2018 (up from 95th in the 4th quarter of 2017), accounting for 0.0456% of Russia’s total trade (up from 0.0365% in the 4th quarter of 2017).

Cote d’Ivoire was Russia’s 110th largest export market in the 4th quarter of 2018 (up from 117th in the 4th quarter of 2017), accounting for 0.0173% of Russia’s total exports (up from 0.0094% in the 4th quarter of 2017).

Cote d’Ivoire was Russia’s 69th largest supplier in the 4th quarter of 2018 (up from 72nd in the 4th quarter of 2017), accounting for 0.1020% of Russia’s total imports (up from 0.0799% in the 4th quarter of 2017).

  • Vehicles other than railway or tramway rolling stock, and parts and accessories thereof (HS code 87) - an increase of $89,343.

The largest declines in Russia’s exports to Cote d’Ivoire in the 4th quarter of 2018 over the 4th quarter of 2017 were recorded for the following product groups:

  • Fertilizers (HS code 31) - a decrease of $2,480,267;
  • Electrical machinery and equipment and parts thereof; sound recorders and reproducers, television image and sound recorders and reproducers, and parts and accessories of such articles (HS code 85) - a decrease of $1,496,006;
  • Animal or vegetable fats and oils and their cleavage products prepared edible fats; animal or vegetable waxes (HS code 15) - a decrease of $329,585;
  • Impregnated, coated, covered or laminated textile fabrics; textile articles of a kind suitable for industrial use (HS code 59) - a decrease of $80,492;
  • Rubber and articles thereof (HS code 40) - a decrease of $72,078.
