The major trading partners of Russia in Europe in the 4th quarter of 2018:

The top ten Russia’s trade partners in Europe in the 4th quarter of 2018 were Germany (8.2853% of Russia’s total foreign trade), the Netherlands (7.2188%), Belarus (4.5827%), Italy (3.9534%), Poland (3.0486%), France (2.4097%), Ukraine (2.2487%), Finland (1.9989%), the United Kingdom (1.7306%), and Belgium (1.5131%);

The top ten Russia’s export markets in Europe in the 4th quarter of 2018 were the Netherlands (10.0799% of Russia’s total exports), Germany (7.2451%), Belarus (4.4035%), Italy (3.5390%), Poland (3.4628%), Finland (2.2945%), Ukraine (2.2505%), France (1.8824%), Belgium (1.7625%), and the United Kingdom (1.7133%);

The top ten Russia’s import suppliers from Europe in the 4th quarter of 2018 were Germany (10.3624% of Russia’s total imports), Belarus (4.9405%), Italy (4.7808%), France (3.4625%), Ukraine (2.2452%), Poland (2.2215%), the United Kingdom (1.7651%), the Czech Republic (1.6638%), the Netherlands (1.5055%), and Finland (1.4087%).

The most notable changes in Russia's trade with the countries of Europe in the 4th quarter of 2018 over the 4th quarter of 2017:

  • The share of the United Kingdom in Russia’s total exports declined from 2.1734% in the 4th quarter of the 2017 to 1.7133% in the 4th quarter of the 2018;
  • The share of Malta in Russia’s total exports rose from 0.4503% in the 4th quarter of the 2017 to 0.8766% in the 4th quarter of the 2018;
  • The share of Cyprus in Russia’s total exports rose 4.7-fold from 0.0602% in the 4th quarter of the 2017 to 0.2833% in the 4th quarter of the 2018;
  • The share of France in Russia’s total imports declined from 4.6068% in the 4th quarter of the 2017 to 3.4625% in the 4th quarter of the 2018;
  • The share of Finland in Russia’s total imports declined from 1.7915% in the 4th quarter of the 2017 to 1.4087% in the 4th quarter of the 2018;
  • The share of Montenegro in Russia’s total imports rose 5.0-fold from 0.0021% in the 4th quarter of the 2017 to 0.0106% in the 4th quarter of the 2018.
