Russia’s Trade with Tunisia

In the 4th quarter of 2018, Russia’s trade with Tunisia totaled $202,829,739, up 84.48% ($92,883,298) from the 4th quarter of 2017.

Russia’s exports to Tunisia in the 4th quarter of 2018 totaled $174,501,458, up 120.71% ($95,438,811) from the 4th quarter of 2017.

Russia’s imports from Tunisia in the 4th quarter of 2018 were $28,328,281, down 8.27% ($2,555,513) from the 4th quarter of 2017.

Russia’s trade surplus with Tunisia in the 4th quarter of 2018 was $146,173,177, a 203.40% increase ($97,994,324) over the 4th quarter of 2017.

Tunisia was Russia’s 76th largest trading partner in the 4th quarter of 2018 (up from 84th in the 4th quarter of 2017), accounting for 0.1086% of Russia’s total trade (up from 0.0658% in the 4th quarter of 2017).

Tunisia was Russia’s 70th largest export market in the 4th quarter of 2018 (up from 76th in the 4th quarter of 2017), accounting for 0.1402% of Russia’s total exports (up from 0.0769% in the 4th quarter of 2017).

Tunisia was Russia’s 87th largest supplier in the 4th quarter of 2018 (down from 80th in the 4th quarter of 2017), accounting for 0.0454% of Russia’s total imports (down from 0.0480% in the 4th quarter of 2017).

Russia’s Exports to Tunisia

The major share of Russian exports to Tunisia in the 4th quarter of 2018 (and in the 4th quarter of 2017) was accounted for the following product types:

  • Cereals (HS code 10) - a decrease of $9,503,184;
  • Aluminum and articles thereof (HS code 76) - a decrease of $1,628,953;
  • Vehicles other than railway or tramway rolling stock, and parts and accessories thereof (HS code 87) - a decrease of $641,458.

Russia’s Imports from Tunisia
