Russia’s Trade with Venezuela

In the 4th quarter of 2018, Russia’s trade with Venezuela was $5,838,528, down 78.67% ($21,539,291) from the 4th quarter of 2017.

Russia’s exports to Venezuela in the 4th quarter of 2018 were $5,343,154, down 80.24% ($21,701,542) from the 4th quarter of 2017.

Russia’s imports from Venezuela in the 4th quarter of 2018 totaled $495,374, up 48.71% ($162,251) from the 4th quarter of 2017.

Russia’s trade surplus with Venezuela in the 4th quarter of 2018 was $4,847,780, a 81.85% decrease ($21,863,793) over the 4th quarter of 2017.

Venezuela was Russia’s 148th largest trading partner in the 4th quarter of 2018 (down from 116th in the 4th quarter of 2017), accounting for 0.0031% of Russia’s total trade (down from 0.0164% in the 4th quarter of 2017).

Venezuela was Russia’s 141st largest export market in the 4th quarter of 2018 (down from 99th in the 4th quarter of 2017), accounting for 0.0043% of Russia’s total exports (down from 0.0263% in the 4th quarter of 2017).

Venezuela was Russia’s 137th largest supplier in the 4th quarter of 2018 (up from 141st in the 4th quarter of 2017), accounting for 0.0008% of Russia’s total imports (up from 0.0005% in the 4th quarter of 2017).

The major share of Russian exports to Venezuela in the 4th quarter of 2018 (and in the 4th quarter of 2017) was accounted for the following product types:
