In 2018, Russia’s trade with Japan totaled $21,272,635,878, up 16.49% ($3,010,704,771) from 2017.

Russia’s exports to Japan in 2018 totaled $12,453,418,583, up 18.60% ($1,952,886,388) from 2017.

Russia’s imports from Japan in 2018 totaled $8,819,217,295, up 13.63% ($1,057,818,383) from 2017.

Russia’s trade surplus with Japan in 2018 was $3,634,201,288, a 32.68% increase ($895,068,005) over 2017.

Japan was Russia’s 10th largest trading partner in 2018 (down from 9th in 2017), accounting for 3.0914% of Russia’s total trade (down from 3.1268% in 2017).

Japan was Russia’s 11th largest export market in 2018 (just as in 2017), accounting for 2.7676% of Russia’s total exports (down from 2.9406% in 2017).
