Russia’s Trade with Croatia

In the 1st quarter of 2019, Russia’s trade with Croatia totaled $591,058,409, up 84.55% ($270,792,811) from the 1st quarter of 2018.

Russia’s exports to Croatia in the 1st quarter of 2019 totaled $543,203,569, up 100.18% ($271,849,150) from the 1st quarter of 2018.

Russia’s imports from Croatia in the 1st quarter of 2019 were $47,854,840, down 2.16% ($1,056,339) from the 1st quarter of 2018.

Russia’s trade surplus with Croatia in the 1st quarter of 2019 was $495,348,729, a 122.69% increase ($272,905,489) over the 1st quarter of 2018.

Croatia was Russia’s 44th largest trading partner in the 1st quarter of 2019 (up from 61st in the 1st quarter of 2018), accounting for 0.3755% of Russia’s total trade (up from 0.2032% in the 1st quarter of 2018).

Croatia was Russia’s 35th largest export market in the 1st quarter of 2019 (up from 53rd in the 1st quarter of 2018), accounting for 0.5204% of Russia’s total exports (up from 0.2634% in the 1st quarter of 2018).

Croatia was Russia’s 72nd largest supplier in the 1st quarter of 2019 (down from 71st in the 1st quarter of 2018), accounting for 0.0902% of Russia’s total imports (up from 0.0896% in the 1st quarter of 2018).

Russia’s Exports to Croatia

The major share of Russian exports to Croatia in the 1st quarter of 2019 (and in the 1st quarter of 2018) was accounted for the following product types:

  • Mineral products (HS codes 25-27) - 91.33% of Russia’s total exports to Croatia (93.07% in the 1st quarter of 2018);
