Russia’s Trade with Kenya

In the 1st quarter of 2019, Russia’s trade with Kenya was $34,669,570, down 35.33% ($18,940,333) from the 1st quarter of 2018.

Russia’s exports to Kenya in the 1st quarter of 2019 were $7,343,991, down 56.88% ($9,685,847) from the 1st quarter of 2018.

Russia’s imports from Kenya in the 1st quarter of 2019 were $27,325,579, down 25.30% ($9,254,486) from the 1st quarter of 2018.

Russia’s trade deficit with Kenya in the 1st quarter of 2019 was $19,981,588, a 2.21% increase ($431,361) over the 1st quarter of 2018.

Kenya was Russia’s 107th largest trading partner in the 1st quarter of 2019 (down from 94th in the 1st quarter of 2018), accounting for 0.0220% of Russia’s total trade (down from 0.0340% in the 1st quarter of 2018).

  • Beverages, spirits and vinegar (HS code 22) - a decrease of $443,518;
  • Wood and articles of wood; wood charcoal (HS code 44) - a decrease of $442,262;
  • Pulp of wood or of other fibrous cellulosic material; waste and scrap of paper or paperboard (HS code 47) - a decrease of $228,244;
  • Nuclear reactors, boilers, machinery and mechanical appliances; parts thereof (HS code 84) - a decrease of $212,648;
  • Inorganic chemicals; organic or inorganic compounds of precious metals, of rare-earth metals,of radioactive elements or of isotopes (HS code 28) - a decrease of $133,656;
  • Miscellaneous chemical products (HS code 38) - a decrease of $64,379;
