Russia’s Trade with Uruguay

In the 1st quarter of 2019, Russia’s trade with Uruguay totaled $52,066,971, up 32.76% ($12,847,327) from the 1st quarter of 2018.

Russia’s exports to Uruguay in the 1st quarter of 2019 totaled $7,500,971, up 187.47% ($4,891,654) from the 1st quarter of 2018.

Russia’s imports from Uruguay in the 1st quarter of 2019 totaled $44,566,000, up 21.73% ($7,955,673) from the 1st quarter of 2018.

Russia’s trade deficit with Uruguay in the 1st quarter of 2019 was $37,065,029, a 9.01% increase ($3,064,019) over the 1st quarter of 2018.

  • Organic chemicals (HS code 29) - an increase of $39,945.

The largest declines in Russia’s exports to Uruguay in the 1st quarter of 2019 over the 1st quarter of 2018 were recorded for the following product groups:

Russia’s Imports from Uruguay

The major share of Russian imports from Uruguay in the 1st quarter of 2019 (and in the 1st quarter of 2018) was accounted for the following product types:
