Russia’s Trade with Azerbaijan

In the 2nd quarter of 2019, Russia’s trade with Azerbaijan totaled $833,305,960, up 21.62% ($148,130,506) from the 2nd quarter of 2018.

Russia’s exports to Azerbaijan in the 2nd quarter of 2019 totaled $557,212,888, up 31.54% ($133,613,135) from the 2nd quarter of 2018.

Russia’s imports from Azerbaijan in the 2nd quarter of 2019 totaled $276,093,072, up 5.55% ($14,517,371) from the 2nd quarter of 2018.

Russia’s trade surplus with Azerbaijan in the 2nd quarter of 2019 was $281,119,816, a 73.50% increase ($119,095,764) over the 2nd quarter of 2018.

Azerbaijan was Russia’s 36th largest trading partner in the 2nd quarter of 2019 (up from 41st in the 2nd quarter of 2018), accounting for 0.5205% of Russia’s total trade (up from 0.4009% in the 2nd quarter of 2018).

Azerbaijan was Russia’s 39th largest export market in the 2nd quarter of 2019 (up from 43rd in the 2nd quarter of 2018), accounting for 0.5530% of Russia’s total exports (up from 0.3844% in the 2nd quarter of 2018).

Azerbaijan was Russia’s 37th largest supplier in the 2nd quarter of 2019 (up from 39th in the 2nd quarter of 2018), accounting for 0.4654% of Russia’s total imports (up from 0.4309% in the 2nd quarter of 2018).

The major share of Russian exports to Azerbaijan in the 2nd quarter of 2019 (and in the 2nd quarter of 2018) was accounted for the following product types:
