Russia’s Trade with Belarus

In the 2nd quarter of 2019, Russia’s trade with Belarus was $7,836,276,501, down 7.22% ($609,808,237) from the 2nd quarter of 2018.

Russia’s exports to Belarus in the 2nd quarter of 2019 were $4,738,215,469, down 13.36% ($730,658,114) from the 2nd quarter of 2018.

Russia’s imports from Belarus in the 2nd quarter of 2019 totaled $3,098,061,032, up 4.06% ($120,849,877) from the 2nd quarter of 2018.

Russia’s trade surplus with Belarus in the 2nd quarter of 2019 was $1,640,154,437, a 34.17% decrease ($851,507,991) over the 2nd quarter of 2018.

Belarus was Russia’s 4th largest trading partner in the 2nd quarter of 2019 (just as in the 2nd quarter of 2018), accounting for 4.8950% of Russia’s total trade (down from 4.9418% in the 2nd quarter of 2018).

Russia’s Exports to Belarus

The major share of Russian exports to Belarus in the 2nd quarter of 2019 (and in the 2nd quarter of 2018) was accounted for the following product types:
