Russia’s Trade with Belgium

In the 2nd quarter of 2019, Russia’s trade with Belgium was $2,316,949,214, down 24.26% ($741,975,155) from the 2nd quarter of 2018.

Russia’s exports to Belgium in the 2nd quarter of 2019 were $1,738,259,087, down 27.56% ($661,198,407) from the 2nd quarter of 2018.

Russia’s imports from Belgium in the 2nd quarter of 2019 were $578,690,127, down 12.25% ($80,776,748) from the 2nd quarter of 2018.

Russia’s trade surplus with Belgium in the 2nd quarter of 2019 was $1,159,568,960, a 33.36% decrease ($580,421,659) over the 2nd quarter of 2018.

Belgium was Russia’s 17th largest trading partner in the 2nd quarter of 2019 (just as in the 2nd quarter of 2018), accounting for 1.4473% of Russia’s total trade (down from 1.7898% in the 2nd quarter of 2018).

Belgium was Russia’s 16th largest export market in the 2nd quarter of 2019 (down from 14th in the 2nd quarter of 2018), accounting for 1.7251% of Russia’s total exports (down from 2.1773% in the 2nd quarter of 2018).

Belgium was Russia’s 24th largest supplier in the 2nd quarter of 2019 (down from 21st in the 2nd quarter of 2018), accounting for 0.9755% of Russia’s total imports (down from 1.0863% in the 2nd quarter of 2018).

Russia’s Exports to Belgium

The major share of Russian exports to Belgium in the 2nd quarter of 2019 (and in the 2nd quarter of 2018) was accounted for the following product types:
