Russia’s Trade with Croatia

In the 2nd quarter of 2019, Russia’s trade with Croatia totaled $311,310,745, up 8.04% ($23,160,976) from the 2nd quarter of 2018.

Russia’s exports to Croatia in the 2nd quarter of 2019 totaled $271,504,965, up 11.59% ($28,203,931) from the 2nd quarter of 2018.

Russia’s imports from Croatia in the 2nd quarter of 2019 were $39,805,780, down 11.24% ($5,042,955) from the 2nd quarter of 2018.

Russia’s trade surplus with Croatia in the 2nd quarter of 2019 was $231,699,185, a 16.75% increase ($33,246,886) over the 2nd quarter of 2018.

Croatia was Russia’s 62nd largest trading partner in the 2nd quarter of 2019 (up from 68th in the 2nd quarter of 2018), accounting for 0.1945% of Russia’s total trade (up from 0.1686% in the 2nd quarter of 2018).

Croatia was Russia’s 51st largest export market in the 2nd quarter of 2019 (up from 55th in the 2nd quarter of 2018), accounting for 0.2694% of Russia’s total exports (up from 0.2208% in the 2nd quarter of 2018).

Croatia was Russia’s 77th largest supplier in the 2nd quarter of 2019 (down from 73rd in the 2nd quarter of 2018), accounting for 0.0671% of Russia’s total imports (down from 0.0739% in the 2nd quarter of 2018).

Russia’s Exports to Croatia

The major share of Russian exports to Croatia in the 2nd quarter of 2019 (and in the 2nd quarter of 2018) was accounted for the following product types:

  • Mineral products (HS codes 25-27) - 83.23% of Russia’s total exports to Croatia (91.27% in the 2nd quarter of 2018);
  • Metals and products from them (HS codes 72-83) - 13.63% of Russia’s total exports to Croatia (5.06% in the 2nd quarter of 2018);
  • Textiles, textile products and footwear (HS codes 50-67) - 1.08% of Russia’s total exports to Croatia (0.61% in the 2nd quarter of 2018);
