Russia’s Trade with Moldova

In the 2nd quarter of 2019, Russia’s trade with Moldova totaled $365,473,390, up 18.36% ($56,704,482) from the 2nd quarter of 2018.

Russia’s exports to Moldova in the 2nd quarter of 2019 totaled $276,842,082, up 18.45% ($43,114,190) from the 2nd quarter of 2018.

Russia’s imports from Moldova in the 2nd quarter of 2019 totaled $88,631,308, up 18.11% ($13,590,292) from the 2nd quarter of 2018.

Russia’s trade surplus with Moldova in the 2nd quarter of 2019 was $188,210,774, a 18.61% increase ($29,523,898) over the 2nd quarter of 2018.

Moldova was Russia’s 60th largest trading partner in the 2nd quarter of 2019 (up from 62nd in the 2nd quarter of 2018), accounting for 0.2283% of Russia’s total trade (up from 0.1807% in the 2nd quarter of 2018).

Moldova was Russia’s 50th largest export market in the 2nd quarter of 2019 (up from 56th in the 2nd quarter of 2018), accounting for 0.2747% of Russia’s total exports (up from 0.2121% in the 2nd quarter of 2018).

Moldova was Russia’s 64th largest supplier in the 2nd quarter of 2019 (up from 65th in the 2nd quarter of 2018), accounting for 0.1494% of Russia’s total imports (up from 0.1236% in the 2nd quarter of 2018).

Russia’s Exports to Moldova

The major share of Russian exports to Moldova in the 2nd quarter of 2019 (and in the 2nd quarter of 2018) was accounted for the following product types:
