Russia’s Trade with Romania
In the 2nd quarter of 2019, Russia’s trade with Romania totaled $1,231,340,331, up 12.87% ($140,434,197) from the 2nd quarter of 2018.
Russia’s exports to Romania in the 2nd quarter of 2019 totaled $864,461,894, up 26.11% ($178,962,830) from the 2nd quarter of 2018.
Russia’s imports from Romania in the 2nd quarter of 2019 were $366,878,437, down 9.50% ($38,528,633) from the 2nd quarter of 2018.
Russia’s trade surplus with Romania in the 2nd quarter of 2019 was $497,583,457, a 77.65% increase ($217,491,463) over the 2nd quarter of 2018.
Romania was Russia’s 28th largest trading partner in the 2nd quarter of 2019 (up from 33rd in the 2nd quarter of 2018), accounting for 0.7692% of Russia’s total trade (up from 0.6383% in the 2nd quarter of 2018).
Romania was Russia’s 26th largest export market in the 2nd quarter of 2019 (up from 34th in the 2nd quarter of 2018), accounting for 0.8579% of Russia’s total exports (up from 0.6220% in the 2nd quarter of 2018).
Romania was Russia’s 31st largest supplier in the 2nd quarter of 2019 (down from 29th in the 2nd quarter of 2018), accounting for 0.6184% of Russia’s total imports (down from 0.6678% in the 2nd quarter of 2018).
Russia’s Exports to Romania
The major share of Russian exports to Romania in the 2nd quarter of 2019 (and in the 2nd quarter of 2018) was accounted for the following product types:
