Russia’s Trade with Tunisia
In the 2nd quarter of 2019, Russia’s trade with Tunisia was $179,739,815, down 20.10% ($45,212,514) from the 2nd quarter of 2018.
Russia’s exports to Tunisia in the 2nd quarter of 2019 were $148,929,185, down 22.70% ($43,737,477) from the 2nd quarter of 2018.
Russia’s imports from Tunisia in the 2nd quarter of 2019 were $30,810,630, down 4.57% ($1,475,037) from the 2nd quarter of 2018.
Russia’s trade surplus with Tunisia in the 2nd quarter of 2019 was $118,118,555, a 26.35% decrease ($42,262,440) over the 2nd quarter of 2018.
Tunisia was Russia’s 72nd largest trading partner in the 2nd quarter of 2019 (up from 75th in the 2nd quarter of 2018), accounting for 0.1123% of Russia’s total trade (down from 0.1316% in the 2nd quarter of 2018).
Tunisia was Russia’s 65th largest export market in the 2nd quarter of 2019 (down from 62nd in the 2nd quarter of 2018), accounting for 0.1478% of Russia’s total exports (down from 0.1748% in the 2nd quarter of 2018).
Tunisia was Russia’s 82nd largest supplier in the 2nd quarter of 2019 (down from 81st in the 2nd quarter of 2018), accounting for 0.0519% of Russia’s total imports (down from 0.0532% in the 2nd quarter of 2018).
Russia’s Exports to Tunisia
The major share of Russian exports to Tunisia in the 2nd quarter of 2019 (and in the 2nd quarter of 2018) was accounted for the following product types:
- Mineral products (HS codes 25-27) - 81.57% of Russia’s total exports to Tunisia (61.92% in the 2nd quarter of 2018);
- Chemical products (HS codes 28-40) - 13.28% of Russia’s total exports to Tunisia (12.01% in the 2nd quarter of 2018);
- Metals and products from them (HS codes 72-83) - 2.90% of Russia’s total exports to Tunisia (14.95% in the 2nd quarter of 2018);
- Wood and wood products (HS codes 44-49) - 1.97% of Russia’s total exports to Tunisia (2.09% in the 2nd quarter of 2018);
